Bimonthly Pub Night
After each of our Bimonthly Meetings we go to the pub! All members are encouraged to eat dinner together, as well as enjoying a few pints and glasses of wine!

Twice a term our Social Sec arranges a Themed Social or Pub Crawl!
For example, last year we had a beach themed night with free drinks. Stay tuned!
As Christmas approaches we have our annual Ceilidh (traditional Scottish folk dance and music) arranged together with the School of Economics. Everyone is encouraged to try it and and fail it! 😄
The School of Economics and Economics Society hosts an annual ball! It is a spectacular evening of wine, dinner and dancing in the beginning of March.
We want to make sure that all new students gets to know our society's members. Therefore we encourage everyone to join our pre-drinking parties!
EconPALS is a peer assisted learning scheme supported by The University of Edinburgh and EUSA, dedicated to First Year Economics Undergraduates.
Every year our society arranges for the members to go and see new movies related to Economics at half the price. This time we went to see The Big Short!
Insight Launch Party
At the end of each term our Magazine, insight, launches its new issue. This is celebrated at a nearby pub, and there is free food and drinks!
Freshers' Pub Crawl
On the Welcome Week's Thursday we all — new and old members — roam through the different pubs of Edinburgh. Last year we were 100 members going!
Meet & Greet
Monday at noon during the Welcome Week, we greet our new members! Meet your new classmates, and find out about our society. Lunch is on us!
During the Welcome Week we have a booth at the Activities' Fair, where we sell memberships and talk about what our society does.
We arrange a big barbecue for our freshers! Each September our committee members fry up hundreds of hamburgers and hot dogs — including vegetarian — free for everyone.
During our Annual General Meeting in late March we vote in the new committee. All members is able to run for any position, and vote!
